Reading Patanjali's Yoga Sutras
Kaivalya's overview of Patanjali introduced the Yoga Sutras as a philosophical account of the mind and personal transformation. It moved from a general introduction to discussion of a particular verse and the idea of non-attachment.
The material reflected the centre's interest in studying Sanskrit texts alongside meditation. Its structure allowed readers to see both the wider philosophical system and a more focused interpretation of individual concepts, rather than treating yoga solely as a sequence of physical postures.
